Discharge of firearm and petrol bombing of a house at Blanchardstown on the 23/3/08 and up date

Single shot was fired at the front patio door of a house on Sheephill Green, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.

 

Shortly after 10.30pm on the 23 March 2008 a single shot was fired at the front patio door of a house on Sheephill Green, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. 

The house was occupied at the time but nobody was injured. 

The following night a petrol bomb was thrown at the same house. 

Again nobody was injured but the house was slightly damaged. 

As a result of these incidents an investigation was carried out by the Blanchardstown Detective Unit, who were assisted by the Drugs Unit and Task Force. 

Four males were arrested on Thursday last, 27 March 2008, and were detained at Finglas, Blanchardstown and Cabra Garda Stations under Section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act. 

They will appear before Dublin District Court number 44 on the 29/0/08 at 10.30am in relation to both these incidents.
