Fatal road traffic collision at Ballinhassig, Cork on the 23/6/08 and name.

Gardaí at Bandon are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the N71 at Rigsdale, Ballinhassig, Co. Cork.

 

The 58 year old man who died in the fatal collision at Rigsdale, Ballinhassig, Co. Cork, (previous release 771/08 below refers) has been named as Patrick Radley of Castle Park, Ballincollig, Co. Cork.

Gardaí at Bandon are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 3.45pm yesterday afternoon, the 23rd June 2008 on the N71 at Rigsdale, Ballinhassig, Co. Cork. 

A 58 year old male motorcyclist was seriously injured when the bike he was riding lost control and collided with a wall.   

Paramedics and a doctor attended the scene and the man was taken to Cork University Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. 

The road was closed at the time but has since re-opened. 

Witnesses to this collision are asked to contact Gardaí at Bandon on 023 52200.
