Suspicious death at Upper Mayor Street, Dublin on the 25/1/08 - and update.

Gardai from Store Street Garda Station are investigating the suspicious death of a 54 year old male who was found on Upper Mayor Street, Dublin 1.

 

Following a post mortem examination, Gardai investigating the death of a 54 year old man, whose body was discovered on Upper Mayor Street last night are satisfied that there was no foul play involved in the mans death.

Gardai from Store Street Garda Station are investigating the suspicious death of a 54 year old male who was found on Upper Mayor Street, Dublin 1 after 7.10 p.m. on the 25th January 2008.

Gardai were called to Upper Mayor Street and found a male dead on the footpath. The body was removed from the scene to the City Morgue and a Post Mortem will be conducted by Dr. Marie Cassidy this morning 26th January, 2008.

The scene has been preserved pending a technical examination of the location.
