Robbery at Ushers Quay, Dublin on the 18/1/08.

Gardai were paying special attention to the areas following a number of similar crimes which have occurred in the Kevin Street/Bridewell areas in recent weeks.

 

Gardaí from Kevin Street Garda Station arrested a man aged 29 years, at 6.35pm on the 18th January 2008 .

A man entered the premises carrying a large knife and threatened the shop assistant. Gardai from Kevin Street who were patrolling the areas restrained and arrested this man. The arrested man was conveyed to Kevin Street Garda station where is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 Criminal Justice Act.

Nobody was injured in the course of this incident. No Property was taken
