Gardai at Gurteen, Sligo are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Ragwood, Gurteen, Co. Sligo, on the main Gurteen to Ballaghadereen Road at 3.20 a.m., the morning of the 20th January, 2008.
A 16 year old female passenger was fatally injured. She was removed to Sligo General Hospital.
The scene is being technically examined at this time. The road is closed at the present time and diversions are in place.
