Gardai from Castlebar Garda Station, Mayo are investigating a fatal road collision which happened at Dooleague, Islandeady, Mayo.
The deceased has been named as Rory Claxton, Carrowbeg Estate, Westport, Co. Mayo.
Witness Appeal - Anyone who have travelled between the Halfway House and Westport between 9.30pm and 9.45 pm on the 14/2/08 and witnessed this incident are requested to contact Castlebar Garda Station at 0949038200 or the Garda confidential telephone number 1800 666 111.

Gardai from Castlebar Garda Station, Mayo are investigating a fatal road collision which happened at Dooleague, Islandeady at 9.45 p.m. approximately on Thursday, 14/2/08.
A 19 year old male who was a front seat passenger in a car was fatally injured after the car he was travelling in hit a wall.
He was taken to Mayo General Hospital along with two other occupants of the car. Their injuries are believed to be not life threatening.
