Drug seizure in Shannon and arrest on the 6/2/08

Gardai from the Divisional Drug Team, Ennis assisted by Gardai from Shannon have seized 5,500 Ecstasy tablets.

 

Gardai from the Divisional Drug Team, Ennis assisted by Gardai from Shannon have seized 5,500 Ecstasy tablets and arrested a man following the search of a house in Shannon today, the 6/2/08.

The man (aged in his 30's) is detained at Shannon Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.

The estimated value of the drugs seized pending analysis is €50,000.
