Gardaí at Clondalkin seized 1kg of heroin after a search of a house on Kilcronan Avenue, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 at approximately 9.15pm last night, the 15/2/08.
The search was carried out by the Clondalkin Drug's Unit assisted by their Detective Unit and members from our Special Defence Unit.
The potential street value of this seizure is €200,000, depending on an analysis of the substances seized.
A 38 year old man and a 32 year old woman were arrested at the scene and are being detained under Section 2 of the drug Trafficking Act at Clondalkin and Ballyfermot Garda stations.
