Gardai at Donnybrook are investigating a fatal stabbing which occurred at Ranelagh Road, Dublin 6.
A man in his forties is due to appear at a sitting of Dublin District Court number 46 charged in relation to the death of Rebecca Hoban on the 17th of December 2008.

Gardai at Donnybrook are investigating a fatal stabbing which occurred at Ranelagh Road, Dublin 6 at approximately 7pm last night (17/12/08).
A 28 year old woman was taken to St. Vincents Hospital with serious injuries and died a short time later.
A 43 year old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and is currently detained at Donnybrook Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.
A post mortem will be carried out this morning (18/12/08) at Dublin City Morgue.
The scene of the incident remains sealed off pending a Garda Technical Examination.
