As a result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in West Dublin Gardaí from the Ballyfermot Drugs Unit searched a house in the Ronanstown area.
As a result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in West Dublin Gardaí from the Ballyfermot Drugs Unit searched a house in the Ronanstown area.
The search took place at approximately 5pm this evening and over a kilogramme of heroin was seized.
This seizure has a street value in excess of €200, 000 - depending on forensic analysis.
A 34 year old male was arrested and is presently detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station under section 2 of The Drug Trafficking Act.
