As a result of an ongoing operation targeting serious crime in the Dublin West area 2 cars were stopped on Sarsfield Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10.
As a result of an ongoing operation targeting serious crime in the Dublin West area 2 cars were stopped on Sarsfield Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10, shortly before 3.45pm this afternoon.
The cars and their occupants were searched and a .38 calibre handgun along with four rounds of ammunition were seized.
Three men were arrested and are presently being detained at Ballyfermot and Clondalkin Garda Stations under section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act. The men arrested are aged 20, 23 and 31 years respectively.
