Gardai at Roscommon are investigating an incident that took place shortly after 7pm on the 19/08/08 in which a woman in her 20's received fatal stab wounds.
The man being detained in Roscommon Garda Station in relation to the death of Kezia Gomaz Rosa yesterday evening (previous release below refers) is due to appear before a special sitting of Carrick-on-Shannon District Court at 11pm tonight - 20th August 2008 to be charged in relation to the incident.

Gardai at Roscommon are investigating an incident that took place shortly after 7pm this evening 19/08/08 in which a woman in her 20's received fatal stab wounds.
The incident occurred in a dwelling on Lanesboro Street, Roscommon.
A male in his 30's was arrested a short time later in relation to this incident and is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Roscommon Garda Station. He can be detained for a period up to 24 hours.
The scene is sealed off pending the arrival of the Garda Technical Bureau and State Pathologist.
