Gardai at Kilbeggan Garda Station, Co. Westmeath are investigating a fatal road traffic collision, involving two motorcycles, that occurred at Clonaglin, Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath on the 30/8/08.
Gardai at Kilbeggan Garda Station, Co. Westmeath are investigating a fatal road traffic collision, involving two motorcycles, that occurred at Clonaglin, Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath at 15.30 hrs yesterday afternoon 30th August, 2008.
Both riders were taking part in a Charity Motor Cycle Run. A 35 year old male motorcyclist, a Polish national, was fatally injured and later pronounced dead at Tullamore General Hospital. The other motorcyclist was injured and taken to hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The Gardai at Kilbeggan are appealling for witnesses to this collision to contact them at 057 9332102.
