Traffic delays at North Brunswick Street, Dublin on the 16/4/08 - and update.

Traffic Restrictions are currently in place around North Brunswick Street as a result of an on-going incident near Richmond Courthouse.

 

North Brunswick Street has now been re-opened to traffic and pedestrians following an earlier incident near Richmond Courthouse (Previous Release below refers). 

Gardai had been dealing with the discovery of a suspect device. 

An Army Explosive Ordinance Disposal team attended the scene and the device was found to be an elaborate hoax. 

The scene is now being technically examined.

Traffic Restrictions are currently in place around North Brunswick Street as a result of an on-going incident near Richmond Courthouse, Dublin 7.

Traffic coming from Blackhall Place and Manor Street is being diverted away from North Brunswick Street. 

The street is sealed off and pedestrians are not being allowed access at the present time.  Motorists are asked to co-operate with Gardai and if possible avoid the area.  

Updates will be provided as the incident progresses.
