A man has been taken to Cork University Hospital having sustained what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

 

A man has been taken to Cork University Hospital having sustained what appeared to be gunshot wounds. 

The man who is approximately 50 years of age was found injured on the roadside at Coolbeggan, Tallow, Co. Waterford, at 1.15pm on Sunday, 27th April 2008. 

Gardai at Dungarvan are investigating the matter and are seeking the assistance of anyone who may have been in the area at time or who may have information, to contact Dungarvan Garda Station on 058-48600, or call the Garda Confidential line on 1-800-666-111. 

Gardai are seeking particular assistance from anyone who may have seen a blue jeep (no better described) in the area around the time of the incident.
