Following the seizure of a large amount of cannabis resin at Euro Port, Rosslare, Co. Wexford, by officers from the Customs National Drugs Team two people have been arrested.
A 27 year old man is expected to appear at Gorey District Court, in Co Wexford, on the 1st of May at 10.30 am, charged in relation to the seizure of drugs at Rosslare Port on the 28th of April.
A 20 year female, who was also detained, has been released without charge.

Following the seizure of a large amount of cannabis resin at Euro Port, Rosslare, Co. Wexford, by officers from the Customs National Drugs Team two people have been arrested and are detained at Wexford Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
The arrests took place shortly after 7p.m. on the 28th of April 2008.
The 27 year old man and 20 year old woman can be held for up to seven days.
