Gardaí are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Cam Hill, Brideswell, Co Roscommon last night, Sunday 20th November 2016 at approximately 10.30pm.
The collision occurred on the R363 between Dysart and Brideswell when a car left the road and overturned. One man, late 30's, driver of the car suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A male passenger, mid 30's, was taken to Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe with minor injuries. No other injuries reported.
The scene is preserved and the R363 is currently closed at Cam Hill to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Diversions are in place.
