As part of Operation Thor, Gardaí carried out planned searches of premises and lands at Moyne Park, Baldoyle, Dublin 13 this morning, Thursday 14th January 2016.
The searches were conducted by detective & uniformed Gardaí attached to the DMR North Division. They were assisted by members from the Divisional Task Force.
During the searches a large amount of cash was seized along with a firearm and a quantity of suspected stolen property.
Four men, early 20's to early 40's and one woman, late 20's were arrested during the operation. One man was charged and appeared before the District Court 4, Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon. He was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court on 21st January 2016 at 10.30am. Two of the men and the woman were brought before the District Court on unrelated matters. The fourth man was released without charge.
