Fatal traffic collision in Co. Wexford on the 9/1/16

Gardaí in Enniscorthy are appealing for witnesses following a fatal traffic collision on the N11 in the early hours of this morning.

At approximately 4.35am male aged in his 20s was fatally injured when his car collided with a van on the N11 at Garrycleary, Crossabeg, Co Wexford (between the village of Oylegate and Kyle’s Cross).  He was pronounced dead the scene. His body has been removed to Wexford General Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The van driver, a man in his 40s, was also taken to Wexford General Hospital with minor injuries.

 
The N11 is currently closed to traffic in both directions and diversions are in place. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have been notified to attend the scene.
