As a result of an intelligence led operation conducted today the 13th May 2015, members of the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau stopped and searched a car on the North Road in Finglas at approximately 4pm.

During the course of the search Gardai seized cannabis resin and cocaine (both subject to analysis), precursor chemicals and tablets. These operations use advanced analytical and intelligence methods to disrupt criminals and dismantle their networks. Drug seizures play a critical role in targeting the livelihood of criminals and reducing their ability to carry out illegal activities. Drug seizures also help protect communities from the devastating impact of drugs and the associated criminality.
