Appeal For Witnesses - Alleged Sexual Assault in Dublin on the 24/8/14

Gardaí at Mountjoy are investigating an alleged serious sexual assault on a female which occurred in a laneway beside a convenience shop across from St Peters Church at Cabra Park, Phibsboro between 7.15pm and 8.45pm approximately on Sunday evening 24th August 2014.

Three men are believed to have been involved in this incident. The main culprit involved is described as being 5’9”, skinny build, shaved blonde hair with a light facial stubble. He is also described as having facial scaring. He was wearing grey cotton trousers with a white stripe down the side, a grey jumper with a hood and black runners. The second man is described as being 6’, thin face with dark eyes and wearing a dark grey sweatshirt with a hood, he has what is described as a distinctive scar on his left hand. No description is available for the third man.    
 

Investigating officers are particularly anxious to speak to a man who may have met these men in the laneway following the alleged incident.
