Serious Assault Cahir, Co. Tipperary 16th February, 2013

Gardai are investigating the circumstances of a serious assault in Cahir, Co. Tipperary on the 16th February, 2013.

At approximately 8.20p.m. a male in his early 20's was seriously injured when he was stabbed during an incident at Riverdale, Cahir. He was taken to South Tipperary General Hospital and later transferred to Cork University Hospital. 

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to this assault and anyone with information is asked to contact Cahir Garda Station 052-7445630, or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
