Traffic Collision in Co. Cork on the 27/12/13

Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Co. Cork on the 27th Decemeber 2013.

At approximately 3.50 a.m. a 28-year-old male pedestrian was seriously injured when he was struck by a car on Kilmallock Road, Charleville. He was taken by ambulance to Limerick Regional Hospital. The occupants of the car were not injured.

The road is closed to traffic and diversions are in place. Forensic collision investigators have been notified to attend the scene.
