Press Briefing - Fatal stabbing in Donaghmede, Dublin on the 29/10/12

There will be a press briefing at 3pm, today 29th October 2012 at Coolock Garda Station in relation to the fatal stabbing that occured this morning on St. Donagh's Road.

Shortly after 7 a.m. this morning 29th October, 2012 Gardai received a 999 call that a man was lying injured on St. Donagh's Road, Donaghmede. The man (late 20's) was removed to Beaumont Hospital with stab wounds and he passed away a short time
later. 

The State Pathologist Office has been notified and the Garda Technical Bureau is expected to arrive at the scene this
morning.

Gardai wish to appeal to any persons who may have been in the area of St. Donagh's Road and may have witnesses an incident
to contact Coolock Garda Station on 01-6664200, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
