Fatal road traffic collision at Fermoy, Cork on the 19/7/09

A vehicle collided with a male pedestrian, he was pronounced dead at the scene and was conveyed to Cork University Hospital.

 

Gardai in Fermoy are investigating the circumstances of road traffic collision on the 19th July 2009 which occurred on the Fermoy to Glanworth Road at a place called Grange (three quarters of a mile outside Fermoy) at approx. 23.30hrs.

A vehicle collided with a male pedestrian in his 50s; he was pronounced dead at the scene and was conveyed to Cork University Hospital.

Diversions are in place and will remain closed pending a Forensic Scene Examination.
