Gardai at Pearse St are seeking witnesses to an alleged assault which occurred on Hawkins Street, Dublin 2 at about 3am on the 2/9/08.
It is alleged that a female was assaulted by a male in his 30s and that 2 African males came to her assistance and chased the attacker down Hawkins St towards Burgh Quay.
Gardai at Pearse Street would like to appeal to anyone who was in the Hawkins Street area around 3am on 2/9/08 and in particular the 2 African males who chased the attacker away. They also like to speak to anyone who saw 2 females sitting on the footpath on Hawkins Street opposite Chaplin Pub and beside the old screen cinema to contact them at 01- 6669000.
