Gardai at Bray Garda Station have detained a 22 year old male following an alleged assault Charlesland Park, Greystones, Co. Wicklow at 8.25pm on Monday the 8th September 2008.
A 51 year old female received injuries to her chest and abdomen and was taken by ambulance to St. Vincents Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin 4.
The scene of the incident is being forensically examined and investigations are continuing. The man is detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Bray Garda station.
