Pride Parade, Smithfield on Saturday, the 24th June 2017

Traffic Diversions as Pride Parade enters Smithfield

As the parade crosses from the Southside onto the Northside, traffic on the north quays at Ellis Quay will be diverted away from the Quays onto Blackhall Place.  Buses will be permitted to continue on the North Quays.

When there is a break in the parade ONLY buses will be permitted to continue onto Inns Quay from Arran Quay.

Traffic heading northbound at Constitution Hill will be diverted left on North King Street and traffic heading towards Smithfield from North King Street will be diverted onto Constitution Hill. 

These diversions will only take place as the parade enters Smithfield.  Once the parade has entered Smithfield all roads will be opened immediately.

Safety Notice for Smithfield

For the safety and enjoyment of all attending, there is a no bag policy for this event. Only small bags measuring no bigger than A4 (8.27in/21cm x 11.7/ 29.7cm) will be permitted into both St. Stephens Green South and Smithfield Square.

               The event in Smithfield is an alcohol free event.
