Connect with Respect

Launched on the 4/2/13

Connect with Respect

On Monday, the 4th February 2013 a Garda Secondary School Programme pack was launched in Templebar, Dublin.

"Connect with Respect" aims to help students in post-primary schools to understand the impact that cyberbullying can have on different people, and to recognise that it is not acceptable.  It aims to prevent this behaviour from occuring, and to enable people to respond effectively if it does occur.

The ease of access people now have to powerful communication tools such as social-networking websites has brought a new dimension to issues such as harassment and indeed 'cyber bullying'.
