Seizure of firearms and crack cocaine in Dublin on the 16/8/18

As part of an on going operation two searches were carried out in the Ballyfermot area, Dublin 10 by Gardaí from Ballyfermot Detective Unit  and assisted by Armed Support Unit, this morning 16th August 2018.

During the course of the searches two firearms were recovered. Crack Cocaine(subject to analysis) with an estimated street value of €85,000 were also recovered.

One male, 22 years,has been arrested and is detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 30 Offences Against The State Act 1939 as amended.
