Gardai from the Garda National Drugs Unit have seized a quantity of cannabis plants and arrested two men following the search of a house in Manor Kilbride, Co.Wicklow on the afternoon of the 14th of May 2011.
During the course of the search Gardai seized 170 cannabis plants, with a street value of €65,000(subject to analysis). The plants were being cultivated at the house. Two men aged 35 and 37 were arrested at the scene. The men are detained at Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
Both men are are still being detained at Tallaght Garda station this morning the 15th May 2011.
