During the course of this operation two kilos of heroin was recovered with a street value of €300,000.
Following an operation carried out by the Garda Organised Crime Unit and the Garda National Drugs Unit targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the DMR West area of Dublin, a car was stopped in the Lucan area yesterday evening - Thursday, the 20th August 2009.
During the course of this operation two kilos of heroin was recovered from the car with a street value of €300,000 (approx.).
A 30 year old man was arrested and detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
