Gardai stopped two males and seized a single barrel sawn off shotgun and a quanity of ammunition.
As part of a routine patrol in the Deansrath area of Clondalkin in Dublin in the early hours of this morning, the 18th April, 2009 Gardai stopped two males and seized a single barrel sawn off shotgun and a quanity of ammunition.
Two males in their mid and late teens were arrested and are detained under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act, 1939 and were taken to Clondalkin and Ballyfermot Garda Stations.
One of those arrested has been charged and released on bail to appear at District Court 55 in May, 2009.
The other male remains in custody.
