Garda seek owners of unclaimed property

Please note this property is not for sale - we are attempting to return property to owners.

An Garda Síochána are beginning a pilot scheme that will allow members of the public to view on-line photographs of property (lost and stolen) in Garda possession that has yet to be claimed by the owners of that property.

The initial rollout of the scheme sees a selection of items from the following Garda locations

Shankill (covering Dundrum/Blackrock/Stepaside/Dun Laoghaire/Dalkey/Shankill/Kill O' Grange and Cabinteely Garda stations)

Store Street (covering Fitzgibbon Street, Mountjoy and Bridewell Garda Stations)

Athlone

Terenure

Items of located property are highlighted on our social media pages on a regular basis

If a member of the public sees an item they believe may be their property, they should make contact with the appropriate station (as listed in the photograph's description) to arrange a viewing.

If you have lost property (or have had property stolen from you), and it is not listed in the photographs, please contact your local Garda station to ascertain if it has been handed over to them.

Important details to note:

1) Always report stolen property to An Garda Síochána.

2) Please make a note of your bike's serial number, and keep it in a place where it can be easily retrieved if necessary.

Contact details for all Garda stations are available on the www.garda.ie
