Murder of Paul Quinn on the 20/10/07

Gardaí at Carrickmacross Garda Station are continuing to investigate the murder of twenty-one-year-old Paul Quinn who was murder at Tullyvanus, Co. Monaghan on 20th October 2007.

Paul was assaulted by a number of men after being lured to a shed in Tullyvanus. An extensive Garda investigation was launched and remains ongoing today. A number of arrests have been made and statements taken from a number of people.

Gardaí believe that there are still people with information in the community who have never come forward and appeal to those people to do so now.

Paul’s mother Breege will be in studio to make a direct appeal for information from the public.
