Gardaí at Mountjoy Garda Station are preparing for the upcoming concerts at Croke Park in May 2014. One Direction are playing over three consecutive nights on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of May to their biggest audience to date.

Superintendent Kevin Gralton, with responsibility for these events, was in studio to discuss issues that may arise for people attending the concerts. Anybody under sixteen years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Gardaí believe that the majority of those attending these concerts will be under 18. There are two areas where people can drop off and collect family members or friends. These areas are Mountjoy Square East and Clonliffe Road at the Mater Dei or Clonliffe college car park.
