Located - Missing man Brendan Burke (71) Rathfarnham Dublin 16

The body of Brendan Burke has been confirmed as the male body found on the shore in North Wales on the 29th of November 2017 by HM Coastguard and North Wales Police.

Gardaí are renewing their appeal to the public’s help in tracing the whereabouts of Brendan Burke, 71, who is missing from Rathfarnham, Dublin 16, since the 15th November 2017.

Brendan was last seen at 4.17pm on the 15th November 2017 outside the Permanent TSB in Rathmines.  We are today releasing CCTV stills from the Permanent TSB in the hope that this will encourage people who were in the area and who may have seen Brendan, to come forward.

We also know from analysis of phone records that Brendan was in the city centre at approx. 8pm on Wednesday 15th November 2017.

He is described as being 5'11", of medium build, with dark brown hair. Brendan has blue eyes and wears glasses.
