Appeal for information - Injured male discovered on Parnell Road / Clogher Road, Dublin 12 on the 18/2/18

Gardaí at Sundrive Road in Dublin are appealing for witnesses/ information to an incident this morning, Sunday 18th February 2018.

A 24-year-old injured male was found lying on the road at Parnell Road / Clogher Road Dublin 12 at approximately 5.55am this morning (18/2/18). Investigating Gardaí believe that this male may have been struck by a motor vehicle which failed to stop at the scene. The injured man was removed to St James Hospital with serious head injuries.

From initial investigations carried out its understood that the injured man made his way from Camden St at approximately 4.30am towards Portobello, Harrington St, South Circular Road, Harold’s Cross Bridge, Parnell Road and Clogher Road. A Garda technical team has examined the scene.
