€1.1 million Drugs seized in Dublin and man arrested on the 8/11/17

Gardaí and Revenue Officers have seized drugs with an estimated street value of €1.1 million and arrested a man in his 40s following a joint operation in Dublin.

On the 8th November 2017 Customs Officers at Dublin Port intercepted a pallet of goods which contained suspected controlled drugs. Gardaí and Revenue launched an operation and on the 9th November, 150kg of suspected cannabis resin and 3kgs of suspected cocaine (both pending analysis) was seized at Ballycoolin Industrial Estate.

A man in his 40s was arrested and brought to Ballyfermot Garda Station where he is detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act 1996.
