Update - Sudden death discovered at Carnegie Court Apartments on the 13/6/17

The deceased man has now been identified as a 46-year-old Latvian National with an address in Swords.

Preliminary results of a post-mortem examination conducted by Deputy State Pathologist Dr Curtis have been forwarded to investigating Gardaí. Foul play is not suspected in the death and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.

Gardaí in Swords can confirm that the injured man found in an underground car park at Carnegie Court Apartments was pronounced dead at Beaumont Hospital last night (13/6/17).
Investigating Gardaí are renewing their appeal to any persons who were in the area of Carnegie Court Apartments on North Street, Swords between the hours of 10p.m. on Monday night and 6 a.m. this morning Tuesday, 13th June 2017 to contact them at Swords Garda Station 6664700 the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Gardaí in Swords are seeking witnesses to a incident that occurred in the early hours of this morning Tuesday, 13th June, 2017 at Carnegie Court Apartments.

An injured man was discovered in the underground car park of Carnegie Court Apartments at approximately 5.50a.m this morning. He has been removed to Beaumont Hospital and is in a serious condition.

The white male, believed to be in his late 30s/early 40s, with brown hair and of medium build. He was wearing a white Slazenger t-shirt, navy track suit bottoms and black sketcher runners - size 8. There was no form of identification on this man and he remains unidentified.  It is not known at this stage how he sustained the injury.

Gardaí are appealing for any persons who were in the area of Carnegie Court Apartments on North Street, Swords between the hours of 10p.m. on Monday night and 6 a.m. this morning Tuesday, 13th June, 2017 to contact them at Swords Garda Station 6664700, or the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
