Drug seizure in West Dublin on the 28/7/17

As part of on-going joint investigations targeting drug importations into the jurisdiction, an intelligence led operation was conducted by the drugs Unit, Tallaght and the Revenue Customs Service this morning. During the operation a package was intercepted in a warehouse in West Dublin and approximately 29kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €580,000 was seized.   No arrests have been made, investigations are on-going and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
