As part of an on-going, intelligence led operation targeting organised criminal activity in the South Dublin area Gardaí from the Special Crime Task Force, Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau have seized ammunition and cocaine, pending analysis.
The items were discovered following the planned search of a property in the Tallaght area yesterday, Thursday 9th February 2017. Gardaí seized a quantity of ammunition, cocaine with an estimated value of €1,300, pending analysis and drug paraphernalia. A man, 41 years, was arrested at scene and is currently detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended.
