Gardaí have arrested one man and seized a quantity of cocaine, heroin and tablets last night, the 10th February, 2017.
As part of on-going investigations targeting the sale and supply of drugs on the north side of Dublin, Gardaí from the Ballymun Drug Unit and assisted by members of the Task Force searched a property in Shangan Terrace, Ballymun. During the course of this search a quantity of cocaine, heroin and tablets (subject to analysis) with an estimated street value of over €6,000 was seized.
One man (late teens) was arrested in connection with this investigation and was detained at Ballymun Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4, Criminal Justice Act. He was later released and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
