Cannabis herb seizure €110,000 and two men arrested Douglas, Cork 31st January 2017
Gardaí from the Cork Divisional Drug Unit have seized 5.5 kilos of cannabis herb(subject to analysis) with a street value of €110,000 and arrested two men in Douglas, Co Cork.
The seizure was made on foot of a planned search at a house in Cogan's Cottages, Ballinlough Rd, Douglas on the afternoon of the 31st January 2017. The two men (1 in his late 50s, 1 who is 30) were arrested at the scene and are currently detained at Anglesea St Garda station under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking)Act 1996 as amended.
