A total of forty-four (44) Gardaí from a number of different Regions and National Units throughout the country received this Post Graduate qualification in Fraud and E-Crime Investigation. Present at the graduation ceremony were a number of Professors from UCD, and senior Garda Management from both the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau and the Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau.
This Post Graduate Certificate enhances the investigative ability of Garda members and equips them with the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to investigate serious and complex fraud matters within their respective Divisions as well as providing support and guidance to colleagues. Additionally, training was received by all members in respect of Computer First Responders and E-Crime Investigation.
