Gardaí in New Ross are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 6.30pm on the 4th December 2017.

A car and a lorry were involved in the collision. All the occupants(three males and one female) of the car were fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene.  

The driver of the lorry and a passenger in the lorry were uninjured in the collision.  

The road is closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision examination and will remain closed until at least lunchtime tomorrow.   Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact New Ross Garda station on 051 426030, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Gardaí in New Ross, Co Wexford are investigating a serious road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 6.30pm on the 4th December 2017.
The collision occurred on the N25 at on the New Ross to Ballinaboule road at Begern(approximately 2-3 miles from Ballinaboule)
The road is currently closed and diversions are in place. We are aware that there have been injuries, but cannot at this stage confirm the extent of these injuries.   An update will issue as soon as we have further information.
