Drugs seizure and arrests at Parkgate Street, Dublin 8 on the 27/10/16

As part of an ongoing investigation into serious criminal activity in the Dublin region two males were intercepted at Parkgate Street, Dublin 8 at approximately 11am this morning ( Thursday 27th October 2016) by the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Serious Crime Task Force.

During the course of a search one kilo of cocaine (subject to analysis) was seized with an estimated street value of €80,000.
 
Two males (40yrs & 52yrs) were arrested in connection with this investigation are currently detained at Store Street Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2- Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
