Witness Appeal - Stabbing Incident on Church Street, Dublin on the 27/10/16

Gardaí in Bridewell are appealing for witnesses following an assault that occurred on Thursday night, 27th October 2016 in Church Street.

At approximately 11.30p.m. a 30 year old man was attacked by a group of youths. The injured man was chased from Smithfield area, onto Queen Street on up to Arran Quay, before arriving at Church Street where he managed to get assistance. The injured man presented himself at the Mater Hospital where he was treated for stab wounds. His injuries are non life threatening.

Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, particularly anybody who was in the vicinity of Smithfield, Queen Street, Arran Quay and the Church Street areas of Dublin 7 between 11.15p.m. and 11.45p.m. on Thursday 27th October, 2016 to contact them.
