Shooting incident at Cherry Orchard, Dublin on the 1/11/16

Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at Raheen Drive, Cherry Orchard, Dublin last night, Tuesday 1st November 2016 shortly after 9pm.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene where a man, 42 years, suffered apparent gunshot wounds. He was taken to St. James' Hospital where his condition is described as being serious.
 
No other injuries were reported. No arrests have been made.
 
The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
