Renewed Witness appeal - Fatal road traffic collision in Blanchardstown, Dublin on the 22/10/16

Gardai in Blanchardstown wish to renew their appeal for witnesses following the fatal Road Traffic Collision that occurred on the evening of Saturday 22nd October, 2016 at approximately 6.50pm on Hartstown Road.

Two motorcyclists collided and one man (early 20s) was removed to Connolly Hospital where he died a short time later.  The second motorcyclist (man early 20s) was uninjured.

Gardai wish to renew their appeal for witnesses. They are particularly interested in speaking to a male who performed CPR on the injured male at the scene. It is believed that he was driving a jeep directly behind the motorcycles and witnesses the collision.

Gardaí in Blanchardstown are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred this evening, Saturday 22nd October, 2016 at approximately 6.50p.m. on Hartstown Road.

Two motorcyclists collided and one man (early 20s) was removed to Connolly Hospital where he died a short time later.  The second motorcyclist (man early 20s) was uninjured.

The Hartstown Road, at the Community College is currently closed in both directions for the Forensic Collision Investigators to carry out their investigations.
